FAQ’s
When should I have my trial/preview?
I normally recommend 3-12 weeks before the big day. However if you have your dress and some style ideas do it when you desire.
How long is a preview session & can I try different styles?
I book out 1 to 1:30 hours and in this time we can try 1 to 3 styles.
What should I bring to my preview?
Ideally some inspiration pictures of styles you like.
Any accessories and your veil if your are having one, you can bring with you. If you know your style requires extra hair please purchase before the trial for us to use. If you are unsure this is something we can deside during your preview. (i can recommend if needed, also ref to pre-wedding trial guide or preparations as you may find them helpful).
When should I wash my hair?
I always advise to wash your hair the day before, shampoo twice to ensure its super clean and condition only the ends. please no heavy/deep treatments the week before your wedding.
If the hair is too oily or too silky smooth it can make the hair to slippery for up styles or curls can drop quickly, this applies to bridal party as well.
If you require a blow-dry I will ask for freshly washed and towel dried hair that morning.
How long does it take to get everyone ready?
I require 45 minutes per hairstyle and 60 minutes for the bride. The standards will be high so i like to take a little extra time for extra care! All my styles are made to last until late evening.
How far will you travel and much do you charge?
I have a base rate for travel so if you let me know the location I can give you a personalised quote.
For destination wedding an agreement can be made however flight, accommodation and transfer fees will apply.
Do you take payment on the day?
No, I prefer to have everything paid for in advance, so that your big day is all about you and we don’t have to worry about chasing up payment from anyone.
Can you recommend a make up artist? or other vendors in the industry?
Yes! Please ask anything you may need advise or recommendation for.
